Maarten Klein (BASSFoundation):::

Maarten Klein first discovered dance music in the early nineties when he got his first New Beat / Acid House cassettes and discovered Breakbeat a few years later. He got seriously hooked when some of his friends started playing Drum & Bass in clubs in Holland and started co promoting some of the pioneering Drum & Bass nights in Rotterdam in the late 90’s.

Maarten Klein is on a mission to promote underground genres that are not regularly played in India. He has been destroying Indian dance floors for the past 2 years with his eclectic mix off Electroclash, Indie Dance, Fidget House, Techno, Electro, Dubstep and Drum & bass. Maarten Klein is also the founder of BASSFoundation, a Drum & Bass and Dubstep collective, consisting of 2 DJ’s and 1 MC.

With a philosophy of great tunes, having lots of fun, not taking himself too seriously and keeping the energy in his sets high, Maarten Klein is guaranteed to blow off the roof.
